Topics of interest:
- The discovery of a Higgs boson at 125 GeV as a probe of
the SM and BSM physics.
- Phenomenological predictions for current and future
colliders (especially for the LHC and for future
e+e- colliders) in the SM and BSM models.
- Implications for the BSM/SUSY from cosmology and gravitational waves.
- Low-energy and electroweak precision observables as a test of
the SM and BSM models.
In my CV
you can find some more detailed information about me.
Projects I am involved in
- FeynHiggs
Homepage of
FeynHiggs,
the program for MSSM Higgs sector phenomenology: prediction of
masses, mixings, branching ratios, production cross sections and more.
- HiggsBounds/HiggsSignals
Homepage of
HiggsBounds and HiggsSignals,
the programs that allow to check any Higgs sector of any model
against existing experimental limits from LEP, the Tevatron and the
LHC, as well as against the measured signal rates from the LHC and the
Tevatron.
- MasterCode
Homepage of the
MasterCode,
the program for fitting the MSSM to existing experimental data.

Lectures/Exercises:
(given by me :-) can be found
here.
Physics activities/employments:
- Diploma thesis (03/93 - 09/94):
In my diploma-thesis I did one-loop calculations in the higgs-sector
of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standardmodel (MSSM).
Who does not know anything about this stuff but is never the less
interested can
read my preface for laymen (12 KB, .ps.gz,
in german!)
Who is even more interested can read my whole
diploma thesis
(1904 KB, .ps.gz, in german!).
- PhD thesis (10/94 - 02/98):
In my
PhD thesis
(811 KB, .ps.gz, in german!)
I calculated two-loop selfenergy contributions to
electroweak observables and to the Higgs sector in the MSSM.
Therefore I also wrote a 'preface for laymen' which is available as
ps-file (27 KB, .ps.gz, in german!) and as
ascii-file (8 KB, in german!).
- 0th Postdoc (03/98 - 09/98):
7 nice month as a postdoc at the
ITP
in Karlsruhe, Germany
- 1st Postdoc (10/98 - 09/00):
From October 1998 till September 2000 I had a nice time as postdoc at
Desy (Hamburg, Germany).
- 2nd Postdoc (10/00 - 03/02):
Starting from October 2000 on, I was fellow at the Theory Division of
BNL (Long Island, New York).
- Junior faculty member (04/02 - 11/05):
C1 at the Institute for theoretical elementary particle physics,
Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich.
- Fellow at the theory division of
CERN (12/03 - 11/05):
- Ramon y Cajal at the university of Zaragoza (12/05 - 06/06)
- Ramon y Cajal at IFCA (Santander) (07/06 - 05/07)
- Cientifico titular (permanent research staff) at
IFCA (Santander) (06/07 - 05/10)
- Investigador cientifico (permanent research staff) at
IFCA (Santander) (06/10 - 03/16)
- Profesor EIC-UAM at the
IFT (Madrid) (04/16 - ...)
